Service Description

As part of the EduCATaLIS™ BRIDGEd™ Framework, BRIDGEd™ Advocacy and Strategy provides families with personalized support and practical guidance as they prepare for IEP and evaluation meetings. Designed for families seeking more hands-on support, this package helps parents and guardians feel informed, organized, and confident throughout the educational planning process. EduCATaLIS™ helps families better understand educational documents, prepare for meaningful conversations, and strengthen advocacy skills through clear, parent-friendly guidance and collaborative support. Our goal is to reduce overwhelm, provide clarity, and help families actively participate in decisions that support their child’s educational growth and success. BRIDGE™ Advocacy and Strategy Includes: • 30-Minute IEP Overview Consultation: A personalized overview of your child’s current educational plan, including goals, accommodations, services, supports, and instructional considerations. When applicable, evaluation results may also be reviewed to help families better understand student strengths, needs, and support recommendations. • 30-Minute Parent Advocacy Coaching Session: A one-on-one coaching session designed to help families approach educational meetings with greater confidence. Families receive guidance related to meeting preparation, communication strategies, educational rights, and effective advocacy practices. • IEP Meeting Preparation Checklist & Talking Points Guide: A practical planning resource that helps families organize questions, concerns, priorities, and key discussion points before upcoming educational meetings. • Follow-Up Support: Families may receive one follow-up phone call or email within five business days following an IEP or evaluation meeting (excluding weekends) to clarify questions, review next steps, or discuss additional concerns. BRIDGEd™ Advocacy and Strategy is designed for families seeking hands-on support and guidance during the educational planning process. Services are limited to those included within this package. Additional advocacy and support services may be available for an additional fee and can be discussed during the consultation.
