Meet the Founder

Chassity Simmons is the Founder and Executive Director of EduCATaLIS™ and the Creator of the BRIDGEd™ Framework. She is a National Board Certified Teacher with more than 20 years of experience serving students, families, educators, and educational communities.

Throughout her career, Chassity has worked with K–12 students as both a general and special educator and is especially passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs. Her experience includes classroom instruction, family partnerships, collaborative educational teams, mentoring, and student-centered problem-solving, providing her with a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges families and educators often face.

EduCATaLIS™ was founded from a simple belief: families should not have to navigate educational and special education processes alone. After more than two decades in education, Chassity recognized that many families wanted to support their children but often struggled to understand complex educational systems, processes, and decisions.

Through EduCATaLIS™ and the BRIDGEd™ Framework, she helps families build understanding, strengthen communication, and participate confidently in educational decision-making while supporting stronger partnerships among families, educators, and schools.

Chassity's vision is to help transform barriers into pathways for student success by strengthening understanding, fostering collaboration, and creating opportunities for meaningful participation and partnership. She believes that when families gain understanding and confidence, and educators embrace partnership and shared responsibility, stronger collaboration becomes possible and students are better positioned to thrive.
