Service Description

As part of the EduCATaLIS™ BRIDGEd™ Framework, BRIDGEd™ Virtual Meeting Support provides families with supportive guidance before, during, and after IEP and school team meetings. Our goal is to help families feel informed, prepared, and confident as they navigate important educational conversations and decisions. We understand how overwhelming educational meetings can sometimes feel. With family permission, EduCATaLIS™ joins meetings virtually to help families better follow conversations, understand educational information, ask meaningful questions, and advocate for their child’s needs in a supportive and collaborative way. Before meetings, families receive guidance reviewing educational documents, identifying concerns and priorities, and preparing questions related to goals, services, accommodations, supports, and next steps. During meetings, EduCATaLIS™ provides supportive guidance and clarification while helping ensure conversations remain focused on the student’s strengths, needs, and educational growth. After meetings, families have the opportunity to review important information, discuss next steps, and clarify any remaining questions or concerns related to their child’s educational plan and support services.
