BRIDGEd™ Advocacy Readiness™
Preparing Families to Participate with Confidence
Service Description
BRIDGEd™ Advocacy Readiness helps families prepare for one specific upcoming educational meeting or educational decision with greater understanding, confidence, and readiness to participate. Whether preparing for an IEP meeting, evaluation meeting, eligibility meeting, 504 meeting, behavior planning meeting, or another educational conversation, this service provides dedicated time to consider what matters most to your family, strengthen your understanding, organize your questions, and prepare to participate meaningfully in decisions affecting your child. You bring important knowledge of your child and the experiences that have shaped your family's educational journey. EduCATaLIS™ brings educational knowledge, thoughtful preparation, and guidance to help you better understand the information and concerns that may be important to the upcoming educational conversation. Together, we use those perspectives to prepare for meaningful participation. What's Included • One 60-Minute Advocacy Readiness Session • Limited Review of One Specific Meeting-Related Document or Item, When Needed • Meeting Preparation Checklist and Talking Points Guide • One Follow-Up Email Exchange Within Five Business Days Important Information: BRIDGEd™ Advocacy Readiness is designed to help you prepare for one specific upcoming educational meeting or educational decision. Because meaningful preparation takes time, the service requires at least 10 calendar days before the identified meeting or educational decision, with 14 calendar days preferred whenever possible. This service does not include comprehensive educational records review, written advocacy reports, meeting attendance, ongoing advocacy support, legal advice, or legal representation. BRIDGEd™ Advocacy Readiness does not tell families what decisions to make, what position to take, or provide a script for what to say. At EduCATaLIS™, the goal is not dependency. The goal is confidence. BRIDGEd™ Advocacy Readiness is designed to help you enter the educational conversation with greater understanding, thoughtful preparation, and confidence in your ability to participate, use your voice, ask questions, seek clarification, and remain open to what you may hear and learn.
